Two Friends Explore The Pleasures of Gardens & Food.  Photographs by Alan Hough.  Index included.

Between us we've seen more than a few good gardens and, thanks to Mary, enjoyed some very fine food along the way.  Often the conversation over endless excellent dinners came around to gardening and we did what gardeners do,  - we shared ideas and opinions on 'hot' new styles and memorable plant combinations.

This book is an eclectic collection of what we think works well.  It is not a definitive guide to gardening from the ground up nor a comprehensive cooking tome.   For the two of us, gardening and food are inextricably linked.... and this book reflects our shared vision of the pleasures we have found in both.
