Located in central New Plymouth, BookStop Gallery has been
locally owned and operated for many years.

Les and Wendy Marshall have owned the business since 2007.

It's now 2024 and I am looking a lot greyer now! Also looking for a new owner..... 

Our mission is "To provide customers with quality value added products and service."

Les and Wendy like to support NZ Made and or NZ Artists & Business's,  for  Gifts and Souvenirs sold in the shop.

Also BookStop Gallery supports local Taranaki artists by displaying their art in the shop window and shop.

Les works in the shop and manages the day to day activities.  Wendy does much of the 'behind the scenes work' especially with the online store.

We are proud to be 'Kiwis" and Taranaki people.  We love living in Taranaki with Mountain, Surf and lovely Walks  - we are very lucky, in New Zealand, to have such beauty and nature around us.
 

We like to think our bookshop and online shop is user friendly.  In the New Plymouth shop books are arranged in a tidy fashion, in categories and for the most part, in alhphabetical order (biographies are by the person).

We very much enjoy what we do and love meeting and chatting with people  - so please do let us help you find that book you are searching for - new or secondhand.  - NZ Made Gift or Souvenir, or artwork including the stunning photographs on canvas by Adam Buckle.
